Joelle Griffin Russell
Music for Every Occasion, Modern and Costumed Historical Performances, Private Musical Instruction |
 |
Joelle Griffin Russell holds
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music (Piano Performance) from St.
Mary’s College of Maryland, a Master of Music in Composition from
Virginia Commonwealth University, and an elementary Montessori teaching
certification. Recently, she began studies in psychology at the College
of William and Mary in order to pursue Music Therapy. In addition,
Joelle has been on the faculty of SMCM and VCU, as
well as J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, Thomas Nelson Community
College and Williamsburg Montessori School. Joelle is also the
pianist for the Williamsburg Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in
Williamsburg, VA and enjoys
performing in a wide variety of venues, from festivals to concert halls
to private parties to churches. A truly talented composer,
Joelle spans genres with her work; one might first encounter a
more traditional, classical piece, followed by another that is
delightfully avant garde or whimsically experimental! Hear
samples of Joelle's compositions on the
Sorcery and Song MySpace page. |
 |
Joelle
invites you to include the sounds of a solo pianist or small ensemble
at your dinner, wedding, or other engagement. Choose between
classical, new age, modern, original, and traditional pieces, or a mix
for your audience’s pleasure.
Joelle is also available to provide professional accompaniment for singers, instrumentalists, and ensembles. |
